For 50 years, New York Sea Grant—one of 34 university-based programs under NOAA's National Sea Grant College Program—has been producing impressive results through its funded research.
"Sea Grant is unique in how it draws upon its Extension program to extend these [research] studies, putting science-based into the hands of a wide variety of coastal stakeholders," says New York Sea Grant's Director Becky Shuford.
