I FISH NY Festival Draws Hundreds to Hempstead Lake: I FISH NY - News
The day-long festival offered a full schedule of activities, including fishing in McDonald and Sound ponds, which were stocked with trout. I FISH NY provided bait, rods and fish cleaning for any catch of the day.

For the fourth time in as many years, the Town of Brookhaven partnered with I Fish NY in mid-August for a crab fishing clinic at Corey Beach in Bayport, Long Island. I FISH NY also has several events planned through this fall.

Fall '08 Coastlines features NYSG research on breakwater design and storm surge forecasting, teacher training on Lake Ontario and the estuarine environments of the NY/ NJ Harbor, and new NYS commitments towards addressing marine animal diseases and invasive species.
