May 2008 Sharing of Information Conference Dowling College May
28th, 2008
Members of several of our monitoring groups were
able to meet in May of 2008 to present their data and compare notes
on the year's experiences. Each student present and all of our volunteers
received a South Shore Estuary "Preserve the Reserve" Stewardship
Award.

After a lunch of pizza and soda
we visited the coral research laboratories escorted by Dr. John
Tanacredi, Chairperson of the Department of Earth and Marine
Sciences.

Sciences.
