Jessica Kuonen is the New York Sea Grant Hudson Estuary Resilience Specialist. Located in Kingston, NY in the Hudson River Valley, Jessica's work in estuarine resilience is focused on watershed and land use planning and policy in the face of climate change and extreme weather. Issues she addresses include climate change, extreme weather and sea level rise impacts on the wetlands, shorelines, communities, public lands as well as adaptive river and shoreline planning. She serves a variety of stakeholder groups, including coastal communities, coastal businesses, public and/or private landowners.
